Connect your assistant, step by step

One address works for Claude, ChatGPT, Grok and other assistants that support MCP (Model Context Protocol). You add it once, sign in to Triangle, and choose what your assistant may read and what it may change.

Claude

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector and paste the address.
  3. The first time Claude uses a Triangle tool, a Triangle sign-in appears. Sign in, choose what to share, and accept.

ChatGPT

  1. On the web, open Plugins, select +, then Add custom MCP server.
  2. Enter a name, such as Triangle, and paste the address under Connection. Set Authentication to OAuth, tick I understand and want to continue, and select Create as a plugin.
  3. Sign in to Triangle, choose what to share, and accept. In a chat, type @ and pick Triangle.

Needs ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu, where a workspace admin adds it and it has full access, or ChatGPT Pro, read-only. Other ChatGPT plans can't add custom connectors.

Grok

  1. Open Skills and Connectors, then New Connector, then Custom.
  2. Enter a name and paste the address.
  3. Sign in to Triangle, choose what to share, and accept.

Needs a paid Grok plan.

Using Cursor or another assistant that supports MCP? In its settings, find MCP, Connections or Tools and add a new connection with the same address. Building an app? Developers can register one and let people “Connect with Triangle”.

What it can read

Only what you switch on: your records, labs and measurements, medications, notes, care team, wearable readings, genetic reports, and the summary of your history.

What it can change

With Write on, it can add notes and records, update your medication list, book or change Triangle visits, and set reminders. It only works with data inside Triangle and can't change anything at a hospital or clinic.

Taking it back

Disconnect any time in Triangle under Settings → AI service connections, and access stops immediately. To change what it can see, disconnect and reconnect. Access may expire if it goes unused for about a month.

Privacy, said plainly. Once you connect an outside assistant, what it reads is handled under that assistant's own privacy policy, which Triangle doesn't control. Triangle keeps no log of what the assistant does with it afterwards, so connect only assistants you trust. People on your profile's team, such as a family member who helps manage it, can connect their own assistant too, or a read-only one if they can only view. You choose who's on that team.
